Hands down the best mod that I have ever done, and I have had quite a few mods done to my car.
Went over the RSS this morning, had the best experience I have ever had with a tuning company, had a tour of the whole facility, lots of eye candy to check out like a 959 in the back, bunch or cup cars, a stradale, so many things to see. Basically a one stop shop for almost everything.
Off the bat, huge difference in the way my car performs. Got on the toll road and opened up, had an Evo to play with then got blown away by a M5, but then again I only have a C2.
Great guys over at the shop, great showroom with all their products.
You guys will see once you come by and visit them. They are right in Costa Mesa, close to the Ferrari of Orange County.
Met the designer of the plenum as well. All I can say is that they are very knowlegdable about their products and very approachable for any questions.

You posted the exact same message on another Porsche website. You aren't pimping the product are you?
As far as the hp claims for this wonder plenum, I think they're understated. Should be able to get 100 hp. minimum out of an amazing product like that.
Blinkwatt, here you go. We are neighbors. If want a ride after, let me know. http://roadsportsupply.com/IPD_Plenums_Porsche.html
I'm not sure how much more proof anybody would want. Thanks Eric and adybuncio.

Eric, is there more than the one you posted ?, I am not being critical or anything, rather genuinly interested in seeing others (possibly for a 3.6l).
Thanks.
Jeeva, I'm not Eric, but there was a post over on 6-speed online by Deputydog. He posted dyno results for his supercharged 996. If I recall correctly, a lot of critics said that his results were unique to a forced induction application. Eric's results and opinions are similar to those expressed by Deputydog. He also had nothing but good things to say about the RSS plenum.
There's no need to be rude. God... how many dyno sheets do you need to see?
Well really, the pumping up of this product reminds me of the introduction of the Segway: "This product will change all our lives as we know it!".
I've seen one dyno sheet posted, conducted by the same people who stand to gain from selling a bunch of these items. I'm not an expert in fluid dynamics, but the whole thing seems extremely bogus to me. To show the product is really worth $5, much less $1000, you need to run controlled dynos on several different cars, and those dynos have to be run by someone who doesn't have a vested interest in the product.
What I cannot understand regarding this is: If the substantial performance enhancements are so easily available, why didn't Porsche simply change the shape of the stock plenum? Is the RSS R&D staff really that much smarter than Porsche's? Do they have significantly more resources to pour into improving the performance of a product they don't sell tens of thousands of? When the entire Porsche mystique is wrapped around performance (e.g. I would be considerably less skeptical if RSS was offering a better cup holder)?
I will grant that it is possible that a bolt-on product could offer the kinds of gains RSS claims, but one of my personal mantras to live by is: "Fantastic claims require fantastic evidence".
