Default Techart Formula GTS 11" ET25??

Gents,

I have just bought a used set of Techart Formula GTS alloys for the 996 that I have not even bought yet....My questions is this, will a 11x19 ET25 (for Turbo body) fit a narrow bodied car?

Many thanks.

NO, they will not fit properly. OEM wheel sizes for a '02 - '04 996 are:

Front 8" x 18" with 50mm offset
Rear 10" x 18" with 65mm offset

The wheels/tires (11" x 19" 25mm offset) are going to EXTEND an additional 53mm (or 2") farther out than a 10" wide wheel with 65mm offset.

Here is a link to a wheel offset calculator which will help you understand the width/offset relationship.

way off, for a 19/11 wheel you need max of 67mm offset, 19/10 max offset 50mm. these will not rub

Thank you. I appreciate the compliment.

There are a lot of topics discussed on this forum with which I have limited knowledge, so I sit back, read, and try to learn something.

However, when questions are asked about certain topics (like offsets) about which I have gained a lot of knowledge, I try to "chip in" and help others, just as many guys have helped me during the last couple of years. I am very pleased when I can help someone here, because I know how grateful I am to receive help.

Diablo99 - you should PM club411 and exchange some pics. This could be the perfect solution to the fact you bought the wrong wheels. Good luck, to both of you.

Diablo99-If you don't work something out with Club411 let me know as I might be interested in buying them.
