GT3 ruined in an Autocross
I'm not sure if this has been posted. But here's a GT3 ruined in an Autocross.

Feel sorry for that guy as well. I was told by insurance company that they would not cover any damage caused by racing the car in any event. Hopefully this guy has the means to buy another. Do you guys think that this type of damage is repairable?

Machines can be repaired or scrapped. If you can't afford to wad your car, or worse yet, yourself, you shouldn't be racing. Can happen to the best of us and yes it sucks, been there. I've crashed several times in 8 years of motorcycle roadracing, breaking several motorcycles and several bones in my body. Been hospitalized 3 times as a result of crashing. I paid for all costs out of pocket as health insurance denies coverage for competitive events.

How does one mistake the clutch for the brake? Oh, I know, you drive a Corvette slushbox. Idiot. Oh, and whoever set up that course is another idiot. That was a *total* lack of planning with no consideration given to the course design. Some insurance companies are going to be fighting this one out for quite a while.
