there is a stud to put in place of one lug bolt to aid in installing the wheels? I read this in Excellence yesterday and I was thinking what a PITA to lift my wheels and tires on and start the first lug bolt when I did a full brake job last weekend.

Tippy - I posted the following 5 facts in the "2002 Xenon" thread after someone mentioned that they didn't even know they had headlight washers and then "I wonder what else is in there."
https://rennlist.com/forums/showpost...0&postcount=17
I have re-posted the 5 items below:
1. There is an aluminum bar in the tool kit that is threaded at one end. It is a tire bar hanger to be used when changing the tire so you don't have to struggle to get the tire aligned with the holes in the "top hat." It also helps to keep the wheel from banging on the caliper or the brake disk.
2. The "courtesy lights" (small amber lights on the front of the interior door handles and on the light dome) stay on for approximately 2 1/4 hours after you close the door.
3. There is a "pin switch" located on the dome light housing which allows you to set the "courtesy lights" intensity to either high or low.
4. The right rear fog light is inoperable from the factory. Only the left rear fog light illuminates. The wiring harness is identical on both sides, but the brown wire (for Fog light) on the right harness is not "hot."
5. Should the button to open the engine compartment become inoperable, there is an emergency release cable located under the left rear tail light assembly. However, you have to open the engine compartment in order to remove the tail light assembly. This engineering design MUST have been contrived during Oktoberfest!
Can anyone else add some obscure facts to this list?

I'm sure we have all seen this, but
Oil level gauge will appear for one minute after you fuel and restart the car.
Convient way to check the oil every time you refuel the car

This is the case on most German cars. The idea is that if you can see a fog light, you know the rest of the car is to the right of it..
