Default Are all 2002+ Xenons?

Are all 2002+ headlamps Xenon, and then the upgrade is Bi-Xenon? Or for 02+ were they Halogen, and then the upgrade was Bi-Xenon?

newport, i thought all 2002+ had the main light as xenon and only the bi-xenon (meaning hi-beam also) was optional?

my 03 C4S came with xenons and while I don't have the sticker in front of me, I'm almost 95% sure it was an extra option.

2002 and up ALL have "projector" beams. Xenons ALL have washers/sprayers, halogens DO NOT.

xenons are optional on a 02+...but I think almost everybody took that option...so in the used market it seems that they are standard.

Mine are Bi Xenons.....but, i do not think they have the washers.....unless it is under the small polished metal oval beneath the light....and if so, I have yet to figure out how to activate the washers......yes, I have looked in the manual

That is them. The manual says push forward on the wiper stalk while the lights are on. Never bothered to try it myself.

Yes, the washers are under the chrome disk. The headlight washers will only work when the low beam or high beam lights are switched on. You have to pull the windshield washer lever towards the steering wheel or push it away from the steering wheel (I don't remember which way) to activate the headlight sprayer.

The 007-style chrome disk projection cannon is operated by pushing the stalk AWAY from the wheel. Trained operatives can launch both disks into the air at any speed over ~45mph. New washers cost $25 or so.

If retrofitting the Bi-Xenons into a car that didn't have washers, is that difficult? To add the washers so they work?
