Does it look like you can get away with a new hood and bumper? Doesn't look like structural damage of any kind, right? Could have been worse!

I feel your pain brother. Just make sure you upgrade something out of it. Litronics? Maybe a facelift?

I had a hard time getting to sleep last night. My brain just kept replaying the whole thing over and over in slow motion. I had to turn the TV on just to get my mind on something else.
WOW, that looks bad! On second thought, I don't think a giant BumperPlug is going to do the job.

BTW - it is “diminished value,” not diminutive value. Although, if taken to the extreme, as in "totaled," then the car could have diminutive value.

That sucks. 2nd DUI in 2 weeks? Guy needs lots of jail time. I'm glad no one was hurt.

Incredible. It takes a lot of diminished capacity to be so out of it that they mess up the car that badly.

This infuriates me and it wasn't even my car. I feel so bad for you man. I hope you can get it all worked out. These instances here are exactly some of the reasons I won't even have one drink. You put so much on the line when you could instead have a soda, Redbull, whatever.... If it's true it's his second DUI in two weeks I don't mind paying the taxes to keep him locked up for good. Thank God you weren't walking out in front of your car when that happened. Rant Over...

Dude - the damage is not too bad. New Hood, New Bumper, two new lights... all set! (The fenders look fine, from the pictures)

bumpers and hood replacements/repaints will not hurt the value of your car - so many people get them resprayed its not an issue!

You have several things going for you, despite this idiot. First, you witnessed the destruction. You could have eaily missed the entire show by 5 minutes and no one in that bar would have said squat about how that happened. Second, the cost of repairs will not be debatable,--you just had all that work done. Finally, you don't need to deal with Eric and get any sort of bumper plugs,--you're getting an entirely new bumper now with no holes! (except you need to run a front plate in Oregon).

wow...that really sucks. As some people have already mentioned, you are in some sort of way, lucky. You were able to get the *** and he had insurance...still sucks for sure. I would reconsider parking in front of a bar next time...
