Default Drove my first Lambo!

Boy was it ever fast, the throttle response amazing. Its my bro's car and he's had it for a year, and it was only my 2nd time in it

Its an 03 Murcielago. After driving it, I couldn't believe how quiet my 996 cab was compared to that.

We decided to have a little fun and ran side by side while moving in 2nd gear and punched it. I have to say he didn't smoke me, but when i switched to 3rd at 7k, it seemed like i was standing still when he just kept going. He didn't even get to third when we let off. At that point I think we were around 70 miles.

Here's a pic of his car!

I always thought that these cars look great in print, but when you see one in person, on the road, there is nothing like them!

One thing I can say, its a person magnet. Doesn't matter if their old, young, or hot :P
Everywhere we stopped, someone is coming by to ask questions or take pictures.

I listen to my bro answer their questions, and he's like abrupt. I ask him why, and he says if he doesn't he can't get anywhere.

Misinformed people say the same thing about your car.

Nothing to do with the price?

300K - would buy a used carrera GT. ... or 65 356, 68-70 911, 997S, and GT3. (not in that order)

rcg,

Lambos have come a long way since Audi took over. Lambos are still hand built, but they're hand built the same way every time now with much, much better components now. Some people go so far as to complain about the fact that so many parts are stolen from Audi now..

Great story. Thanks for sharing. I'd love to take one for a drive. They are definately people magnets. I think about it parked in front of my office instead of the P-Car. The P-Car is pushing it a bit, a Lambo would be completely outrageous.

This is one of the ultimate cars : Italian heritage, German reliability and Belgian design (I studied with Luk Donkerwolcke, the designer).
Have a friend who owns a Gallordo and recently was lucky enough to check out a Murci Roadster.
These cars are in a differnt league, they are true exotics, unlike our run of the mill Porsches.
I'd take one in a heartbeat over my car. I'm a financially conservative guy though and only pay cash for toys. So Lambo will have to wait for nother decade

Sorry to see some of the lame reactions above. Together with the Zonda I consider the lambo a true personification of the ultimate dreamcar. And yeah - let's not forget about Koenigsegg
