I actually like the looks of the Gallordo better. I know it's not as expensive or powerful, but man is it a good looking car. I'd love to have one.

I second the Gallardo.

It's a little smaller and seems more practical. "Practical" might be a strong word here, but it sure is a sweet car.

The Gallardo looks refined. The Murcie looks mean and muscular

What's up with the pumpkin look... the Lambo needs to get some clear sidemarkers! Eric??

Other than that quite a nice ride, would love to drive it!

LOL yeah what's up with no clear side-markers! Everyone knows those are mandatory.

No No, Troy... You can't park that outside your work place!
The trucks will then just roll up and over it this time!
(Sorry, just kidding!)

Very Nice indeed. I've seen lots of those at the hotel garage where I work.

Wow. great looking Murci. I feel the same as some of the above folks re: the gallardo. IMO the gallardo has got to be my all-time favorite from a strictly aesthetic perspective.

Great car and great appreciation for craftsmanship and engineering. Can't believe some of the neg responses. Glad you enjoyed the ride - life is too short!

you can bitch whatever you want .....the lambo Murc... is a KILLER!! Looks, performance and OH did I mention LOOKS!!!

Poseur car??? WTF.....the car is so fast and so mean looking. ....and I don't really think that when you are able to own one you really care much about maintenance...I wouldn't.
The gallardo is nice. ...see them here everyday in the OC in SOCAL......but not as nice as the Murc.
Ofcourse I wouldn't say no to a Gallardo either..untill then...I have to stick to my little P, I guess it's better than a Honda Prelude.

I own both a 996 and Gallardo. Two totally different cars but fun. Both very reliable.

Its an 03 Murcielago. After driving it, I couldn't believe how quiet my 996 cab was compared to that.

We decided to have a little fun and ran side by side while moving in 2nd gear and punched it. I have to say he didn't smoke me, but when i switched to 3rd at 7k, it seemed like i was standing still when he just kept going. He didn't even get to third when we let off. At that point I think we were around 70 miles.

Here's a pic of his car!
Don't fret, you'll take him in the twisties. lol

Fast and sexy, what more could a man ask for? I’d give my car and my left nut (it’s smaller) for a car like that even if it doesn’t have clear sidemarkers.

I would swap my GT3 for either the Murc or Gallardo any day.
