Default Are the Carrera 5-spoke "lightweight" rims fragile?

These rims are growing on me (I originally was set on the Turbo Looks), but seeing how light they are, are they way more fragile compared to the Turbo Looks? I plan on driving on the NJ Turnpike - don't wanna get rims that bend at the sight of a pothole, etc!

Actually they are pretty strong. Best of both worlds. Strong and light. I know alot of guys track their cars with these wheels. And yes, they are ones that as soon as they grow on you, you gotta have em! Nice thing about these wheels is they really show off the rotors and calipers.

Here's a pic of them on my 996CAB.

Thanks!

Here's a snap I took with my camera phone when I dropped it off at the race shop to get the track setup done.

Those are my track wheels and tires and the wing is the new RS Carbon Fiber wing I just added this week. After track weekends I go back to the silver wheels but the wing stays

I love the black wheels for the street as well but I have R-Comps on those wheels and PS2's on my silver wheels. So silver it is for the street.

Very sweet! Another 996 with Aero front and bottom - with no wing!

I'm not at the "gotta have them" stage yet, but they are very modern looking. I do like the Turbo Twists though...are they stronger than the 5-spoke? Or will a pot hole kill either rim?
