Default Any experience with this Spacer?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...spagenameZWDVW

I am kind of wary because it is coming from Taiwan, but to save $100 over tirerack I would be willing to take a risk. Anyone used/ordered these?

Make sure the wheel bolts are correct! The longer porsche bolts go for about $6 apiece. They are also hard to find. I would go with a known product.

Different design than I have seen. Most 15 mm spacers have studs for mounting the wheels w/ lug nuts. The spacer bolts to the hub, the wheel attaches to the studs.

These spacers bolt to the hub with the included bolts and then it looks like you use regular lug bolts to attach the wheels. My concern would be the opposite, that the lug bolts would be too long and would bottom out against the hub when threaded into the spacer.

So let's get this straight ...... for $100 savings you're willing to purchase and install an unknown companies part that sits between your car and your wheels?

Well if it was "known" (hence the post) on this forum it would not be "unknown" and in that case yes.

And is it really a $100 savings with $60 shipping per pair?

I bought H&R "DR" series 15mm spacers for $95/pr,
Appropriate length Chrome lugs for $3.75/ea.
Shipping for four spacers and 20 lugs less than $20.
WheelTec in Miami. 305-252-2315.

I don't know.
When I bought in April '05, WheelTec had stock, many vendors had none.
I went with 7mm front, 15mm rear, all chrome bolts, shipping and tax to my door, $254.50.

You consider H&R DR series TRAK spacers weak?

The 7mm fronts were $58.95/pr.
Chrome bolts for the front were $2.75/ea.

What are the sizes and offsets of your 997 wheels?
