That is a $55K tops. They were unloading these cars several years ago when they sat on lots for low 70's and couldn't even sell them quickly at that price! Great car, bad product for the market at that price point. Invoice was 78 on those cars are dealers were selling at invoice MINUS holdbacks.

FYI....for 65K territory you are well within Turbo category and approaching GT3 category.

Disagree with LVDEell. With low miles, navi and the other extras, low $60s is eminently do-able. Comparably equipped C4S cars (which are slower, to boot) still trade above $65K at times, and even garden variety C2 cars w/o X51 and all the other 40th equipment sell in the $50s, esp. w/only 12K miles.

I love my 40th! Won't give it up for another 2+ years, when the CPO warranty runs out.

Good luck with the sale.

Disagree all you want. That car will NEVER sell for 65K. Heck, you could have bought it years ago for the neighborhood of 72K. Totally understand your stance as you have a vested interest. But you are starting to sound like Gant.

I kinda agree with Dell on this one, $65k is very high for this car. I like it, I wish I had found one like this when I was searching, but no way I personally would go over $55k.

That being said, I hope you get what you are seeking, and more power to ya! =)

Disagree with you here, bud.

I could've gotten a "garden variety" mint condition '02 with solid options and 18K miles for $46K.

And this car at 65K is insane not to be mean to the seller here as I totally want him to get every penny in the market.

it's just not special enough to justify the price. 997Ss are superior in every way so why would anyone pick this one over it for $65K? for the looks.... not different enough. performance? still getting handed by the 997S. interior? looks avg.

It's pretty special indeed with 345 HP and limited slip, plus every interior option as standard. And a 997S optioned like that is heavier, has only 10 more HP, and will run around $90K!
