Default FS: 99 Carrera Black/Black Factory AERO kit & Carbon Fiber

Hey guys, I am thinking about selling my Carrera. I love the car but to make a long story short, I would like some financial flexibility.

I bought this car around April of 2006 and have only put a few thousand miles on it since. It has remained covered in the garage all of the other time. Before I purchased the car, I paid for a PPI by an experienced porsche technician and it passed with recommendations to replace the RMS and the Brakes, which I did among others.

The previous owner was a dealer and used it as his personal car. He purchased it from a dealer as well(his buddy). I only mention this to put out any suspicion from the number of owners in a few years time. Being dealers, they registered the car as their own but as you could expect, they were willing to sell for the right price.

Since purchasing the car, I first did a lot of maintenance to get the car in tip top shape. I documented all of the work for the most part which can be found here allthough the pictures have been removed(i still have them). I used OEM porsche special tools for the repairs and did the work at a high-end performance shop while i still worked there.

https://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/286452-results-of-my-diy-maintenance-and-rms.html

Maintenance Performed:
Rear Main Seal(RMS) (OEM Porsche)
Itermediate Seal Update (OEM Porsche)
Case bolts update (OEM Porsche)
Spark Plugs (OEM Porsche)
Belt (OEM Porsche)
Front and Rear Brake Rotors (OEM Porsche)
HAWK HPS Brake Pads
ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid
Coolant Flush
Oil Filter (OEM Porsche)
Oil Change (Royal Purple)
Tranny Fluid (Royal Purple)
Fuel Filter (OEM Porsche)
Clutch (OEM Porsche)
Pollen/Cabin Filter (OEM Porsche)
Interstate Battery

The car also has the following mods...

Mods:
B&M Short Shift Kit
Euro Clear tails
Clear Headlights (also removed the orange)
Clear Sidemarkers
Tubi exhaust(Sold by Champion)
AP Racing Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Porsche Lowering Springs
Techart Pedals
Kenwood CD player
JL Audio XR Component Speakers
8in subwoofer on rear shelf (removable)
BumperPlugs.com bumper plugs
Yellow Calipers

The car will come with an OEM Porsche car cover, manual, and key plus the stock parts that i still have and any reciepts.

The car currently has 72,000 miles on it and has never had any body or paint work. Paint is it solid shape with a few light scratches, but nothing too absurd for a 8 year old car. As we all no, black shows everything!

The car is equipped with 18in Sport Designs and the Factory GT3 Aerokit. It also has the COMPLETE factory Carbon Fiber interior, white guage faces, on board computer, full leather interior, power with memory driver seat, power passenger seat, etc...

I plan on having the front bumper resprayed before selling the car unless of course it is agreed upon otherwise. I drive predominately on the highway and it has seen some sandblasting and rock chips.

I am asking $34,000 for the car complete with accessories.

And here are a few pictures and I have more as well:

Gator,

I remember you getting the car, you were like a kid on Christmas Good luck with the sale! Do you plan to get back in the (Porsche) game eventually?

Haha that I was...

Yes I will be back in the game sooner or later. Im not exactly sure what the future is going to bring here in the next year or so, so I think its the best move.

I rarely get to drive the car and I feel like I am "wasting" the car.

I bought the car with intentions of going Forced Induction, and I put the money into the car to be ready for that, but I have a couple of opportunities that are going to sidetrack that idea. Rather than having the car lose money under it's pretty cover in the garage, I figured I would put it on the market.

Of course I am in no hurry to sell, but it's on the market none the less

That sounds like a great price for a true aero!!! Too many refer to aero cars that aren't real aeros, don't have the wing, etc. Even worse, fiberglass parts..................

Wow, that is a good price for the car considering all the mods you have put into that baby. Good luck on the sale, someone's gonna get a hell of a car for that price.

Gator, great looking car with a good price. You may want to post you option list as that information is imperative to a potential buyer.

Good Luck

I waited long enough to find a Factory Aero and paid a premium for it...

Im hoping someone is the same way!

As for the options, I dont know exactly what all the codes mean but i do have a picture of the label so people can see them if they want. I know that it is full leather, aero kit, carbon fiber, power seats. Stereo is irrelevant since it has been changed. No electronic aids either...

Please feel free to PM me with any questions!
