Maybe selling my 996 C4s wanted to get some price idea!
Hey everybody,
wanted to get an idea what my car should go for in NJ. I had it for almost 1.5 years now i bought it with 2,700 miles and put the 7K on myself. I switched jobs and moved and have a 3 year old. All of that doesn't allow me enough time to enjoy it like i did in the beginning. Car was maintained and all after- market equipment professionally installed by Powertech and Ron Brown Forest Hill Exxon in NJ. No problems or stories just a beauty.
2002 C4S blk/blk
9750 miles
mint no dings and scratches 3M Bra
PSS9 less then 1year
Fabspeed 3mos old
B&M ssk 3mos
custom stereo prof installed
PDC
ALUMINUM package
Alpine radio and Infinity speakers and Amp
19" I forged Essen with Conti optional at $4,000 less then 250 miles
PM with any questions
Thanks,
Mario

I agree with gillie. This is not a good time to be selling a Porsche in the northeast. Is your car CPO? Many Porsche buyers will pay a premium for that option. Porsche owners typically will remove optional equipment and try to sell it separately since the return is miniscule when sold with the car.

Geeze Mario - if you can only get the low 50's, keep it. Park it and put a trickle charger on it and give it a second thought next April.
When my son turned 5, he started going on Pcar drives with me, and we've had a blast. I only drive it 10 days a month, but it's a keeper.
Low 50's - good grief.

Hmm under 10k miles, I would hold out for 60k for sure!! Also, don't you guys think the all-wheel-drive will sell in the winter?

Fair enough, but 60K miles isn't much on these cars, so the mileage shouldn't be a huge factor if the car's been well maintained, looks and drives great.
To the OP: look at KBB, NADA, Excellence Mag and also check Ebay. Ebay is a good tool to see how much buyers are willing to pay for a particular car. Good luck with the sale, but if I were you I'd keep the C4S

Right, low $60's. $62k, $63k and if it has 60k, you're looking at $60k or $58 or 59k
If it has 30k miles or under, it will go for closer to $70k average.
$60 to $65k for a 2001 911 Turbo, in excellent shape with 60k miles is my estimate. Of course prices will vary with condition.

You know, I spoke too soon. You can get 2001 Turbos for less than $60K all day long:
Linky 1
Linky 2
Linky 3 (Techart Bodykit)
I can go on and on. Wow, I wish I had extra $60K stashed in a matress somewhere

Mario, Your car is awesome. You should ask at least 70k given the low miles and appropriate upgrades. People who buy these cars do not care what season it is, they have the motivation and the money NOW. The cheap turbos out there are 6 owner cars and every wannabe has crashed/thrashed on them so by the time they hit 80k miles they need everything. Not everybody has turbo lust and your car could easily be a wonderful daily driver for someone near you all year long. Keep it clean, organize your receipts, be patient. These cars get stolen and crashed and one of the many people who realize how great the C4S is will pay you your price.
