Mike,
They are forged magnesium one piece BBS racing wheels. They are very strong and very very light but a little spendy. Probably not practical for a street car. I love the way they look though.

Forge magnesium??!! I only see those on sponsored track cars!! hinting their $$$$ do you mind sharing the cost?(or email me at carrera_mike@yahoo.com) I'm just really curious, 'cause I've been looking for real light set. They really look awesome to me. I love the look of the wheels that keep the track car look!!!

Mike I have been drooling over the BBS motorsport wheels with the magnesium centers as well but have no idea where to buy them. Carnewal has them for roughly $4-5000 after the crappy Euro conversion depending on F/R size combo.

Have those on my 2001 C4

I like the Chrome look and how they show the brake calipers.

Hi Mike,
I'm looking for another set now but hoping to find a used set. New it's my understanding that they are around $8500+ but I'm not sure where you can buy them. I'll let you know if I find some.

Dell,
The mag center wheels should be easy to get from BBS motorsport in Atlanta. Here is their web site. http://www.bbs-usa.com/index.php?id=320

If they won't sell them to you directly you can get them from any big race shop.

Warning, no mag wheels are really meant for use on the street. Magnesium needs careful attention and the aluminum halves on the wheels Dell is looking at are very thin and bend easy.

Happy New Year,
Jim

Thanks Jim and Dell!! Wow those magnesium are really high up there!!

By the way, I found a lesser price BBS source. Have you guys heard of them? No affiliation with me. I'm looking at the BBS REs and they're $100+ less than others I've seen. http://www.hrpworld.com/TunerLine.cf...ction=category
