YES! The car seems a bit heavier both at a roll and from a slow-dead stop with the 18s. I would equate it to the difference between having a full tank of gas or having a 170 lb passenger. Cornering, a slight difference, a bit tighter, but the 18s have new Pirelli P-Zeros. I have not driven the car with the new 19" Pirellis on the Champions...they are boxed and ready to be sold.

The smoothness of the ride is absolutely the same (25 3/8" vs 24 3/4" in height difference) not much noticeable other than the "heaviness" in the throttle response with the 18s. With the M030 suspension, the ride is generally a bit stiffer. I am not that happy with the 18s because of the weight. I never would have suspected the OEM 18s would have weighed 29 lbs! And while I'm not certain, I believe these wheels are standard on the European MKI Cup Car (GT3)...hard to imagine!

I'm actually thinking about selling these and getting the 19" Carrara S wheels that were posted earlier.
These are my favorite rims for the 996!!!! What are they called? C2 Sport, 5-spoke, etc??

Any recommendations for Black 19's [polished lip preferable] in the $1200-2000 range?
