I need the best independent shop(not Gossett the Porsche Dealer) in Memphis TN

the crooks want $300...thats why...
to look a car over in less than an hour!?!?!?!...they should just charge an hour labor($90)
i'm pissed.....

that's how much i paid.
it's a standard price. 2 hours labor.
their labor rate is rather high.
one reason i did with p dealer is to look up in-service date, warranty repair history. and main. history if the car is main. there.
for my case, i found the car was a demo car for 10 month, the leased, then had the engine replaced. so i didn't proceed with the purchase.

thanks...but i already know all the history...just need a good PPI, more than anything to check the RMS...
Whats it take..about 10 minutes to get a car on a lift and turn on a flashlight?!?!?!

Sorry, Memphis (my home town) is one of the last places I would expect to find a good mechanic knowledgeable enough of Porsche to do a good PPI. Go North....

the seller "wont take the car to anyone other than Gossett" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, let him trade it in at Gossett. He sounds like he's got his next car picked out and Gossett offered to help him sell the old one. Gossett's reputation is sketchy...
