Default What some people will do to not scrape their lip!!!! *pics*

Last summer we had the Driveway pulled out and the pavers put in. Do to Historic restrictions we can not use pavers on the Skirt of the driveway. So we did not pull out the skirt when the driveway was replaced. The skirt has been one of those nagging projects that you are reminded of daily. The old skirt was narrow and forced you to go straight in. So if you took it at an angle you were guaranteed to pop the corner of the curb which was steep and sharp. Not that great on our Denali's large tires. My TT would scrape slightly when going in and out. Well I just installed the Sportec Lip on the car and it would have been destroyed if I tried to leave the driveway. Last week I had our old skirt removed and a new skirt poured. This time it is 6' wider and had them give me a 1.5" lip which leveled the skirt a bit not having such a steep slope.

Here is the demo phase and reinstallation which happend on Tuesday....

I had to wait until Saturday for the 6" of concrete dry. It was a long week!! I was very anxious to try it out. Would my engineering work? Eric your no engineer what were you thinking! In the end it worked perfectly!!!! Lots of room to spare. So Bob next time you come to CO you can park in the driveway.

Also I picked up a low rise lift which I is being delivered when I get back from DC next week.

Looks like it turned out great! Not to change the subject.... Can you elaborate what looks like brake duct cooling ports in your front vents?

That is AWESOME! Very cool to get to see the before and after shots. Beautiful car, beautiful house! Can you post some more pics of the car and interior shots?

Very nice car! I did some digging and it Sportec makes the brake cooling kit for the C4S. Where did you purchase your Sportec stuff?

Looks fantastic.

We have the same paving stones on our front walkway. Love the Tudor style house too!

Very nice. I need to do that. Right now I come in at a sharp angle and one wheel comes way off the ground. Very humorous for my neighbors.

Sweet! I think you've done a great job - my only comment:
After all the sweet mods, why did you omit the Hardwired V1? That hanging curly cord takes away from the greatness of your otherwise superb interior.

Just my $0.02.
