Any posers leave the spoiler up?

Here's a radical thought...
The guy forked over his cash like the rest of us. If it makes him happy, he can leave his spoiler up, paint the car pink, add a vinyl roof and put on spinners. He may, in fact, be a poseur but who really cares.
On second thought, if he had the vinyl roof I WOULD care. That's just not right.

Isn't a poser someone who purchases a sports car capable of 177+mph in a country that has as it's highest speed limit 75mph. Why pose on the highway as if you are in Germany during the week and then pose even more on the weekend as a Leman's racer in a assembly line production car?

What a lame thread ! Discussing the poser-ity (new word!) of keeping the wing up or down. Sigh.... Can't we leave something just for passion or asthetics ? And it DOES increase the down force and it IS a factory option !
Now,
Is the added downforce required ? No ..
Is the added asthetics required ? No ...
Is the power of a 996 required on street ? No ...
Some thing are pure passion, pure asthetics ... live and let live.
cheers
Sid

Dude you're the biggest poser. A real racer would have a dedicated gutted track car set up for the Touring or GT Class not an "off the rack" Porsche!!

I must admit that this is a stupid thread, but like a train wreck, I can't take my eyes off it
washington dc porsche -- What's up with you? Your an angry dude. The Professor has probably logged more track miles than you have seen in your rides to Starbucks for latte with your pretty car. Get over yourself calling him out

In any event, LV Dell is no wilting lilly. I doubt that he needs any defenders. Besides, he is a cab driver, he deserves all the crap he gets <--- see the smiley, it means I am intentionally harassing Dell in good nature.
