Default 997 style for Porsche 996

I had my 996 modified at Jacquemond, in France ( I m french) with a 997 SportLook set. I m very pleased of their job, the car looks younger, with those 997 front lights. Then, for european owners, you can bring your car there to have a facelift, or for the US owners, you can order parts that will be shipped to you or your body shop to be fit on your car.

I m really fond of this wide body set ( my car is the grey one of the website ).

Moreover olivier Jacquemond now offers a new set "total" with 997 tail lights, wide front fenders, rear wide fenders.

They are still producing parts for 928. I have see in real the Orange ( clockwork one ) which is FABULOUS in real.

Then, you can be sure jacquemond.com is a good address to deal with !!!
All the staff, and mainly olivier are pleasant men.

bye, from hot france !

H.

That stuff looks really nice, but can the fit and finish be as good as the factory's? How do you get the rear wheels out far enough to fill those wider rear fenders? How does all that fudging around effect the suspension? Tres beau mais est-ce qu'il marche bien?

I don't think he said he was affiliated with that site, rather just expressing he was happy with the work done.

If that wasn't an advertisement from someone with 1 post then I don't know what is.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just go and get a real 997? I like this work of course and it looks nice, but it would seem that is would be just as effective to trade in 996 for a 997 if you want a 997.

I think you missed the point of Riad's post. Refer to Dell's subsequent post.

There is a company in San Diego offering the 996/Boxster - 997 coversion!

Not sure I really see the point - but if people will buy it...

You're looking at nearly $4k in new panels, plus a whole list of 997 parts from Porsche, and the bodyshop on top of that.

Chris.
