car might fail inpsection for many reasons.
most of them are small. something easily disregarded. brake lights, nail in the tire.etc.

for emission problem, if u check engine is on, u won't try your luck at the DMV, right?

Can you get a readout on the onboard computer? Or, check with a dealer as to any work done that might pop up in their data base?
Either way, it's a done deal now, don't worry too much about it, but do hassle them about the warranty.

So you telling me it's NOT gay, when you're NOT in my position says alot.

First things first. Talk to them (the dealer you bought it from) and get it all clearned up. Last thing they want is to know that the ENIRE community here on Rennlist knows they are shady guys that screw over their customers. See if another Rennlister buys from them. If they tell you to go screw yourself and they don't care about the word of mouth that can precipitate then I would file a complaint with the BBB.

Dell......you should see all the bad stuff about Global on "PelicanParts.com".
It would keep you busy reading for a week......I live in Houston area & have been there 3-4 times, the cars LOOK GREAT, but looks are deceiving & I think so are they.

EDIT: added an "n" to Pelican.....

EDIT #2: I was wrong, it is not Global, but Victory Motorcars I was refering to.
Sorry for any confusion!

I figured as much. That whole warehouse look with the cars reminds me of that Tom Cruise movie where he was selling "reconditioned" cars out of the warehouse. Remember good ole Charlie Babbit?

No one on here is trying to scare you. This is a great community and there are a lot of really great, intelligent people who are only trying to help you have the best experience with the car we all love so much. The other thing is most people have had dealings with bad dealers, car salesman, etc. They speak from experience, and are only trying to help you deal with what appears to be a very shday group. There is no way those dudes did not know the CPO situation, and they intentionally misrepresented the situation to you. You have a small window of opportunity here to make them make it right. You would probably be well advised to take it. What happens in three weeks if you find out you have a bad set of engine bearings and it is going to cost you 4-6k to fix, and you don't have that warranty they promised you? Cars are always buyer beware. I would aboslutely make them CPO this car and pay for it, or make them refund my money. That is just me. I do not like being deceived especially intentionally. You have your shot with them take it or leave, but do not complain later if something might happen and you are out a bunch of money. Remembet we honestly are only trying to help you, and do not let that be lost in the translation of text as opposed to verbal communication.
