Well parked the car in my garage last night for the first time, someone broke in and the entire car is keyed, every single body panel, every bumper, every light every thing. I have been looking for a 911 for months that was perfect, saved for three years and this is what I get.

I have the police comming out right now, my insurane agent does not even know about the car yet and they are going to have a 10-15K repair bill after they pull the dents out the doors and paint the entire car.

I was yelling so loud that the neigherbors above me came down.

So mad right now, life sucks but at least they did not break the windows or brake the light lens or stap through the sheet meta.l

OUCH.....Sorry to hear that...amazing how some people want to damage other peoples beuatiful things....its just envy and instead of admiring a wonderful machine and enjoying it, they want to destroy it.....Good luck on the repairs.

Does anybody know how much it costs to repaint a entire 911, plus replace two door panels, and a hood?

What a nightmare..sorry you had to go through this with your new 911. This incident sounds like its personal since if they only wanted to steal some stuff, they would have done so and left the car alone. I dont know why people would go to the extent of keying someone's car, what type of satisfaction comes from such ignorant actions?.. Gluck with the repairs.

I really doubt its personal, I don't live in the greatest part of town and it has happened to my neighbors as well. Well the neighborhood is strange, million dollar homes next to shacks next to high end condos next to section 8 housing.

Welcome to San Diego, what really upsets me is that the wife and I were going to cruise up the coast and have breakfast and now we are sitting at home waiting for the cops.

OMG! That's horrific. Has to be someone you know or in the neighborhood. G.D. envy. I saved for 25 years for my 1st 911 and I envied the guys that had what I could only dream about. But to go to this kind of effort just to deface the car. It's like a hate crime! Not racial but it feels just as bad. Man, I feel for ya.

As fas cost of repairs, here in KC your 10-15k is probably pretty accurate. Maybe higher in SD? LOVE San Diego, but is does have some bizarre zoning. Really sorry to hear about this. Good luck getting it all straightened out.

That really does suck, wow. Sure sounds like you have an enemy, but it could just be random.

Do yourself a favor and have a video surveillance system install, because it could happen again.

Going to set up a video camera and put a sign up that says the entire garage is being video taped. Also turned out that the neighbors are having problems as well so I am pretty sure at this point its just the envy factor then anything personal.

I will very seriously financly hurt who did this if I ever catch them, I have lots of lawyer friends/family who I can call upon.
