Default Texas premium porsche deal

Sometime ago there were a few posts that showed P-cars from a Texas auto dealer that purtied up the Porsches and sold them online. Took bids, etc. I would search for it but that's all I recall - does anyone remember the link or name of it. One of our posters bought one, I think.

Sorry for the dumb thread. Thanks for any help.

Mike

Try eCarLink. I've never had any experience with them, but have heard good things. They're in the DFW area.

Is this who you mean.....Victory Motorcars ?

Here in Houston?

EDIT: FYI you may want to do a search on "Pelican Parts" to see all the
discussion on this used car dealership...

Did you see the inventory at victory. No wonder there are no 993 on the market. They are all sitting at victory (if they actually have all of those cars.)

If he actually has over 15-20 cars then he keeps them elsewhere....his display area cant hold over that many, they are all bunched together with about
a foot or so between them all.

They all sure "look" good though.....buyer beware

It is most likely Victory, but a lot of their cars are low mileage and in excellent physical condition. There have been comments about the mechanical condition not being up to par. ECARLINK in Addison plays it completely honest. They do a lot of selling with upper end exotics including Ferraris and Lamborghini. They are also a wholesale dealer for the local Porsche dealers. If a Porsche dealer gets a car that is older or one that they can't sell for a couple of months, ECARLINK will get it wholesale. When I was looking I almost bought a car from them. I foudn a couple minor (warranty type) problems and they sent the car right over to the Porsche dealer to get it fixed. They are very reputatable and have a great presence on Ebay as a result.

Michael,

Most likely the car came from Boardwalk or Park Place. If you have any questions about the history, ask Len for a CARFAX and he'll run it for you. He will also run it through Boardwalk or Park Place for the service history. He is very easy to work with. Because his business is strictly wholesale with a low markup, there is usually very little give on the price; but the price is normally pretty low to start with.

There's a dealer in Houston, Ray Josephs from RPM Motorsports who has some beautiful low mileage cars - check out his inventory. My brother bought a 993 from him - a good experience. Their website is www.rpmsportscars.com.

If anyone is looking at a car in DFW, I'd be more than happy to go take a visual of one. Just PM me what/where/when and I'll go have a look see.

Sean
