Post aerokit spoiler lip

Ayone know where I can order online the front lip at the bottom of the spoiler closest to the ground. It is a small part that has been scrapped by the previous owner and I am having a hard time finding a replacement. This is a factory installed aerokit. Local dealer tells me he cannot order the one small piece. I find this hard to accept.

Thank you in advance

how badly scrapped is it??
i scrapped mine a coupe of times.. it got repainted and looks just like new...
ordering a new one wont be cheap with the paint job and installation i think.. find a quote from a good bodyshop.. then decide.. that's what i'll do...

It is called spoiler and the part number is: 996 505 986 00

Be sure that you also get the plastic rivets to hold it on (sometimes they are damaged when removing). If they don't come with the spoiler the part number is: 999 507 427 40 and you will need 11.

Any dealer should be able to order the spoiler lip for you, I've gotten several from my dealer. List is around $90 but I used my PCA discount. The plastic screws come with the spoiler so you don't need to order them separately.

As for painting, I don't bother, since I replace it about once a year. It comes in flat black and looks fine with my Artic Silver car just that way. Actually, this lip is unpainted on the GT3, so if you leave it black, it will give you more of the "GT3 look".

I had to order a new lip after an unfortunate departure at 117mph. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

I ordered from Suncoast Porsche and total bill with rivets was around $85-90 w/ freight. The lip comes as a flat black plastic, I did not bother to repaint it on my car.

Thanks to all for the valuable feedback. This site is great for obtaining information especially for us who live out in the sticks (woods)

Thanks again,

THis is very helpful information. I'm scrapping mine at least once a week and I think I'll prob. replace it once a year. Since my car is black, I wouldnt need to repaint it..yee haa
