i have been looking around for 2-3 wks now looking for something that
help me to avoid having my knees too often agains the s/wheel.
the only solutions was suggested by a member here (thanks again). it is
the "xtend 55" hub/spacer to install with the original s/wheel!.
but that stuff costs 615 euro, same as a new OEM porsche s/wheel.
so, i was now considering these solution, but again, n.1 is a bit too expensive:
- changing the s/wheel with a smaller one (340MM, BUT WITH AIRBAG) made
by an EU tuner (gemballa, techart, ruf...). cost: 1300 euro more or less
- changing the s/wheel with smaller 340/350mm momo (or similar, BUT NO AIRBAG).
what do you think?
thanks

there must be an equivalent hub that works for the 996, maybe a porsche motorsport hub.
like i said, dan @ vividracing can help you out.
www.vividracing.com
his number is on there.

ah, whoops. My bad on that one.
In any event i called momo because i think i will use a MOMO wheel as well (i'm having trouble convincing myself to pay 1500$ for a steering wheel and airbag). MOMO told me it is part number 7004 for the Hub for a 1999 and up porsche 996 Carrera. Price is 88$Canadian.
