Default Anyone know a good detailer in CT?

I am in Fairfield County and my car needs a major detailing job. The PO was not a kind man to his vehicle. And I would rather stick to ordinary wash and wax, but it needs the wax stripped, minor scratches dealt with, etc. I wouldn't want to screw it more due to inexperience.

Any advice is appreciated (as always).

Me too! I'd love to find someone as well as I'm also in CT (Greenwich & Stamford).

I had a guy on the west coast who was not only a great detailer but also a wizard fixing minor chips and dings with an airbrush. Haven't been able to find anyone as good on the east coast.

There is a spectacular guy on the Post Road in Greenwich. Greenwich Auto Detailing. 279 W Putnam Rd. 203-629-0983.

But, I haven't been there in a while since I don't work up there anymore so you will want to call before heading over. And oh yeah, it ain't exactly cheap.

Me 3 - I will check out the Greenwich guy nycebo mentioned.

On that road, there are a handful of exotic dealers...

I'm actually looking for a mobile detailer that will come to my house...

LOL! Not cheap? In Greenwich? Who would've thought, huh? Freaking ridiculous out here...

Thanks for the tip. Gonna give him a call.

I swear by Splash Car wash in Greenwich, CT.... They have a subset called 5-star detailing, guy there is Matt (former body shop guy). $195 gets full simonize, wax, exterior and interior/engine compartment... amazing work. Last time I was there, he was doing Hilfiggers kids black 911 Cabriolet.

I've been to both of the locations (Greenwich and Cos Cob). I think they're a great car wash and I use them every week. But I have been unimpressed with the detail work of 5-star. It was ok, but nowhere near the quality I was looking for. On the other hand, $195 is dirt cheap...
