Default Finally, pics

Well, the last time I was home I couldn't take pictures because before I had a chance to wash the car the coolant tank sprung a leak and by the time it was fixed I was back at school. I almost didn't this time either because it's night, the car is in the garage, and now that it's washed we don't want to drive it until my bro gets home tomorrow night. I had to use my 50 1.4 lens because the lighting wouldn't allow me to use anything slower and with one flash I couldn't get any decent bouncing...but the too long for the situation focal length did give me a chance to have some fun with it.

Wish I had more light so that I could stop down the lens more on that one...and no I don't have pink skin...multiple light sources were killing me...car interior is metropol blue and my skin is tanned...so yeah, colors are not accurate (ext. is artic silver btw)

Thanks
They're deerskins (www.wheelskins.com). I got them from bavauto, though many places sell them, some at better prices than others. These are the best I've found, including the ones I looked at at what must have been a dozen glove shops in rome and florence. They do enhance the whole driving experience, though they go better with cars that don't have leather steering wheels (my personal car is 20 years old thus has a plastic - albeit it soft plastic - steering wheel).
The dunhill ones, on the website anyways, look like the limited edition Jim Clark gloves griots garage sold a while back. The Jim Clark ones felt more like baseball gloves to me than driving gloves, and from the looks of it the dunhill ones might be the same way.

marlin, you have to be a paid member to have a signature. Nice pics, though - you have a very good eye. I wish I had the eye for pictures like that. Mine end up looking so blah.

It's all in applying unsharp mask with the settings 20% 50px 0 threshold as a final step (with some modifications for subject matter, with people I do like 13% and 35px otherwise their pupil takes over their eye.
