I was on the NJ Turnpike this weekend for a trip to Washington and both on the way down and coming back ran into a RED 996 C4s. I was with the family in my Audi A6 and he was absolutely FLYING in this thing. I was astonished at 2 things, the sounds coming out of it and the acceleration. I have a 2003 996 Coupe and it does not seem that it has the acceleration nor the sounds of this red c4s i saw...

Is it anyone on here?

 

Alex, come to the NJ meet this sunday, maybe he'll show up!

 

Chances would be slim that he put in a supercharger, so it's probably stock with an exhaust mod.

Or, it could be that it was red, which makes the car go faster.

That was me! I was trying to make it to a 3PM wedding Saturday in NoVa so I was definitely in a rush! Whenever I have to get somewhere quickly, the C4S becomes the vehicle of choice! And I am guilty for trying to have fun with the car on my way back home on Sunday as well! I hope I didn't do anything to scare your family. I guess it sounds louder on the outside than from the inside.

The irony is that I noticed several A6s on my way back on Sunday. Three black C6 A6s and then one black and one dark blue C5 A6. The reason being is that I also own a C5 A6 4.2 so I always keep my eyes out for my fellow Audi friends

And in case you were wondering, the noise you heard was the Porsche Sport Exhaust at WOT! Gotta thank the sig. other since she got it for me this past Xmas. although she definitely regretted the purchase when i opened the windows in the fort mchenry tunnel. LOL

And sorry fellas, I don't have a blower nor any other performance mods.

I know about this weekend's NJ meet but I'm going back down to Virginia again for another wedding. Big regrets too b/c I really wanted to meet everyone.
