Your wheels are probably out of balance, and/or your tires are shot.
How many miles are on your tires, what make are they, and how are they wearing?
When was the last time you had your wheels balanced? Do you also get shaking in the steering wheel starting around 55 mph?

Mine does the same at idle, It has nothing to do with the wheels seeing how the car isn't moving. Now when your driving it could be the tires or the wheels, get them balanced and checked to make sure they are round and true.

Race Car
The car was designed to have a beautiful woman in the passenger seat whose *** tightly fits the contour of the seat bottom. Absent a passenger of this descrioption, vibration will occur.

I have the same problem with the passenger seat vibrating at idle and at some speeds. I only get to use part number 34-24-36 instead and it seems to work. I will try the suggestion of moving the seat back some.

Ha! Mine has that same problem too -- slight vibration of the passenger seat at idle. I just figured with that beast of a motor underneath waiting to break loose, some vibrations are bound to travel up into the cabin, signaling its intentions.

The vibration is completely normal, but not impossible to change. As several have pointed out, a beautiful woman will stop the vibration. I suspect a fat, ugly woman will also perform the same function although if you use a fat, ugly woman you will notice many other things about the car that bug you.
You can also change the frequency of the vibration by changing the idle speed (putting on the A/C), or by changing the angle of the seatback. In my car the vibration also changes frequency when I move the sear forward or aft in the track. It is also affected by what is held in the pocket on the seatback - I have found the vibration to be worse when I have a few CDs or other items in the pocket. All of this is completely normal. BTW, I have the hard-back seats. I don't know if the regular seats would be the same.
