M030 Installation pricing?
This is the quote I got from Rennwerks. It is $1026, ($85.50 x 12 hours) Almost as much as the package which is $1095 thru Carnewal. I s this about average?
Vincent,
Install on your parts should be about 9 hours. Another 3 hours for a four wheel alignment. Our shop rate is $95 per hour unless you are a Porsche club member, and then it drops to $85.50 per hour. Let us know if we can help you.

My dealer charged $800 including alignment last January. I dropped the car off the night before and it was done early the next afternoon. So I think it's more like 5 or 6 hours for everything.

I think my non dealer shop got me for about $765 including alignment. The dealer wanted over $1200 and I really had to twist their arm for that quote... something about they do not do that kind of work b/c the cars are perfect the way they are.

$400 for installation, with 4 wheel alignment included. Made by former senior mechanic of a dealer. This was about a year ago when he was just starting. Probably more expensive now. Got my set from Gert. Yes, I would do it all again. Oh, one other thing. Harness brace from Brey Krause and installation of 6 point harness for 2 seats: $250.
Price of having a mechanic who is a personal friend: priceless.

Thank you for all for the input. I was hoping to pay aound $600 so I think I am going to keep looking. I really do not like the stock set-up with the front end so high. Also, my 96 M3 handled much better than this so I hope this will help that too. Can anyone recommend a place in the Bay area that I can call for a quote?

Auto Werks in Salinas, California is a great shop that only works on German cars. They installed a Carlsson suspension on my '03 Clk430 convertible, and charged me $300. Absolutely no complaints.
I called to get an installation quote for the Euro M030 suspension that I ordered from Gert at Carnewal for my '03 C4S. Shock and spring installation, along with alignnment, will run $592.
Ask for Jeff at Auto Werks, their number is (831) 422-6368
