Default Pembroke Pines drive-by anyone?

Maroone Nissan of Pembroke Pines, FL

I am looking at a 99 C2 w/aero, 60K miles and full leather. Gave a deposit and am having PPI done soon. My question is if anyone close has time to swing by and give it the once over for a condition check so I can save a couple of hundred bucks if it is a beater. The sales guy told me it was "perfect", but call me crazy, I thought I might get a second opinion. Really appreciate the help.

P.S. I am a paying member, I emailed John to see if I can get my old user name back TunaA that lapsed after I sold my 951 a year ago and couldn't bear to read posts from people who still had cars.

Sorry, I am in Philadelphia and would love to meet you there since it is 13 degrees here this morning. I just want someone to take a look at the paint and overall condition. I am having a dealer do a ppi this week, but I figured that I could save the money if it has been painted, or needs to be. I went on their website to get directions. Much appreciated.

First of all, who is doing the PPI? It's that important. Looking at and driving the car, of course, a
start, but you must have the car thoroughly checked out by a qualified Porsche shop or dealer before you buy the car. Good luck.

I didn't know if any local shops were good enough, so I called the closest dealer, Champion, and they said they would pick it up and do the PPI, but it is going to cost extra since its 20 miles away. If anyone has any local shops with the ability to preform a good ppi, I am all ears.

Call Foreign Affairs, a local race shop that specializes in Porsches, and talk to Bob. He can give you an honest PPI 954-746-0488

No affiliation just a happy customer

It does "look" good in the photos; but digital photos on dealer websites almost always look good. Nice options though, and the price is right. If it hasn't been wrecked or sprayed I'd go for it. At least fly down for the sun. Enjoy.
