The thing I hate the most about the 996.
We all know about the common problem areas with the 996 such as, RMS, Coolant tanks, engine, etc.... But what I hate the most is having to put my greasy hands on my trunk to close it tightly. I have to keep a cloth in my driverside armrest to use to keep the prints off the trunk when I close it. This really makes me look obnoxious.

I will replace the badge if it becomes damaged. If a hood becomes damaged or scratched from any debris between my hand and the delicate clear coat, that requires a repaint.
There's already some small clearcoat scratches (that can be seen in certain lighting) from other people closing the hood.

I've been thinking about this the whole day, I finally got it. I know what I don't like about this car. 40yrs., and the dummy engineers at Porsche never thought about it. It only took me 8hrs. I am a genius. Now consider,... if my boss's wife just elopes with another guy, I drive my Porsche to work, how in the world will it be appropriate to walk in there with a big grin on my face. There has to be an "emergeny grin remover" spray as a standard feature. The Stuttgart idiots never thought about this, did they. That's it,... this is my last Porsche.
