Default 996 TT for a 3 month lease

Has anyone tried this? Interesting idea. may be fun to lease a car for the summer. No affiliation, just ran past it and wanted to get opinions.

So in addition to all the leasing costs, I'd have to pay sales tax on the leased car for the abbreviated lease period. For a $100K Porsche that would amount to $5K in MD. That three monthe lease is going to cost some big bucks.

you actually only would have to pay the sales tax for the time used i'm assuming.. same as with any standard lease.. shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred dollars..

fast1, I think you read it wrong. You only pay sales tax on your monthly payment just like any lease. It actually looks like a cool idea if you like the inventory.

Are you certain it's that way in MD. This is literally a tax hell State. What you guys propose seems logical, but again I wonder if it applies in MD.

Might be able to find one of those car 'clubs'. Odds are you could get your hands on something easier that way.

1,400 a month + taxes....
hmmm
seems expensive for a toy.... I'd probably damage it as much as possible the last month, put some VERY hard miles on it...
Remind me not to purchase a used car from them

I've seen what I'm capable of doing to rental cars... I wouldn't want to be the guy a few leases down the line...

Somehow I think lots of those cars will find their way to the track.

Well let me see they do not offer this in Germany but I know you can rent a Porsche from the dealer for around 75 Euro a day but that you can not track it. To track the car you can get one at around 400 Euro per day. With all that I would say lease, insure and drive the heck out of it. Of course I would not want to buy it afterwards but maybe someone else will and they can write what a POS it is and we can all read about it in 2 years.
