Post Valentine One install

Does anybody have installation instructions for a V1 hardwire install? I've tried to search for this in previous post but could not find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

There was one I found a while back that gave directions on a hardwire install that took the power from the overhead console that houses the lights and sunroof switch. This seems like it would be easier as you would not have to run a power line all the way from the lower center console. Does anybody know of that install method?

santicua,

I hardwired my valentine 1 a little over a month ago in my 2000 996 to the lighting fixture directly infront of the sunroof like sloth has mentioned.

I can't remember off of the top of my head all the screws to remove but if you want I can get some directions for you when I get home from work.

Let me know,
-Jon

I was thinking of tapping into the lighting fixture so that I won't have to run too much wire.

Jon,
If its not too much trouble, could you please send me some directions? That would be great! Thanks in advance.

As I never performed the mod... I would not mind the directions either.

TIA
