Question Driveway issue - need advice

Hi guys,

I'm eager to install a Turbo front bumper on my C2, but have this rather steep sloped driveway with a knick at the bottom. Anybody any idea on how to overcome this obstacle ?

Mine isn't as bad as that but still raked. I go at an angle both directions to prevent scraping.

skid plate

hmmm, you could try smoothing it out to make it less dramatic - this involves a wheelbarrow and a few bags of cement, and one (preferably cold) afternoon

avoid paying for retaining walls, etc etc.... behind the house, lack of a backyard, etc

Man, when it rains, those driveways are going to be waterfalls! They are going to wear out their break pads in one year just backing out of the garage.

Personally, I would build a couple of V-shaped wedges out of treated pine to ease the transition between the old and new concrete. Wouldn't cost more than 30 - 40 bucks and would take only a couple of hours to complete.

I've seen same V-shaped devices Tim is talking about made of hard rubber. Same concept as the wood but probably cost more and I have no idea where to get them. Might Google for something like that if you're interested.

redline it in first into the garage and you will then say to your self " what scraping noise?"
