Default One Touch cabriolet module

I'm pulling my hair out here.. about a month ago someone posted about a mod from a company that has a one touch module so that you push and hold the key fob button and it activates the cab top.

I can't find the thread and can't find the site on google..

Anybody know what it is?

TIA

Keith

I started a group buy thread several months ago...full of planty of info in this thread. I wouldn't expect you to get the deal we got without a group buy but at least the thread has ALOT of good info:

deputydog95 - I nstalled the Smartop this fall and it is great. Allows you to open and close the top when moving up to 25 (or 30 I forget the exact speed). Also one touch up and down rather than holding the switch and you can raise the rear windows with the top down. The install is pretty simple, just have to get to the control module under the cover where the top stows. Then it plugs in where the harness normally plugs in, the harnes then plugs into the module. They provide great instructions. 30 mins or so. I got it when they were having a sale for $269.00, but I think it is $299.00 now. Check the Renntech special, I think the offer a discount to members.

I got the remotetop just before Xmas and haven't installed it yet as I already had my hardtop on. Will put it on this spring. Looking forward to being able to open and close the top with the key/remote. This is a standard in Europe. The best news here (for me at least) was when they first released the Remoteop, the had an auction on ebay and I got the one they offered without a reserve for only $139.00. Can't beat that. I haven't seen them offer it on ebay again.

WOW! I just looked at their website and the smartop is up to $319.00 amd the remotetop is $299.00. Great product by the price seems to be creeping up. Another group buy might be a good idea.

I had pretty good luck organizing the autoginuity group buy recently. I'll make a phone call over to wilhemy it and see what they can do for us. Looks like we may be able to get enough people. I can post over at a couple other forums too. I'll let you guys know what I find out this afternoon. If they agree to it, I'll start a whole new thread for the GB.

Dog, you are a beast. Didn't you also set up that Autoenginuity group buy for the OBDII reader also?

Go dog go!
