Default Info on wheels ccw sp16a

Well your expert opions are definitly needed. I am considering purchasing a set of ccw sp16a 19" x 8.5" and 19" x 11". Any information would be greatly appreciated. Would love to see what they look like on a p car.

Go to the CCW website (CCWheel.com) and click on the 16a wheel. Click on the word Gallery, which is immediately above the "specs" window. Now scroll down to the bottom. There are 3 pics of a silver 996 with the 16a wheels installed.

CCW are very popular with the Corvette and Viper track guys, they also make wheels for the Grand Am Cup racing Porsches. They know their stuff, I have a set of their track wheels.

I have had my SP16A’s on my 996 for about half a year. They are a 1 piece wheel which is a little heavier than others however, I purchased them more for the visual appeal. Greatly priced at $2500 a set, 3” lip on the rears with a 2” lip on the fronts.

Any regrets….no

Call CCW and ask for John who is the owner.

Alex, how much heavier is a "littler heavier"? I noticed DJ 996's post yesterday and was also looking into the wheels. Is this the case with 18's? Also, did you know your car is their gallery photo.

Chris I am not certain the exact weight it is my assumption as it is a 1-piece construction vs 3-piece.

I don't think they are any lighter than stock wheels, but they are plenty strong and purpose built. At $1840 for forged track wheels they are hard to beat.

Anything under $2k for decent looking/strong rims is a steal
