I've got the fabspeed install and it does the same thing. It's less of a vibration and just about every rev ends with a fart. It sounds mostly like it could be a leak at some point in the exhaust, but it's been way too cold to check it out recently.

Check your manual on the lights, you may just be rotating the switch too far or pulling it out the wrong amount and it will cause the dim light on one side as well as a tail light. I do not understand the purpose of that feature, probably something European. As for the exhaust, I abslutely love my Cargraphics, and I installed them as well as headers myself 3 yrs ago and no issues at any speed. Will

I think Will is referring to the street parking light feature. With the ignition turned off, you can light up one side of the car to try and keep others from hitting your parked vehicle. The manual is good for this sort of little gadgets/features.

I did a DIY PSE without the electronics. No vibration. Cool "gurgle" when the engine speed slows down from high rpm's. I really wanted the Fabspeeds but couldn't pass up a great deal on new oem product. Fits perfectly. Sounds throaty and loud. Totally different from stock. But sometimes I wish I had done the muffler bypass pipes. I chickened out when a lot of boarders said muffler bypasses were way too loud. I don't know. Maybe I'll put them on my '87 911.

mrhmmhmm thats a better choice of words. I couldnt figure out how to describe it. Every rev ends with a fart. Thats exactly what it sounds like. I just checked out fabspeeds maxflo muffler video for 996 and the carrera in the video slightly gives a similar fart right at the end of each rev. Maybe you guys can check it out and tell me what your opions are. Ive checked every bolt and every connection. Everthing seems ok.

I love those sounds, I don't have any mufflers! of course, I only drive my 996 a few thousand miles each year. I'd hate to travel far, but quick blasts, nothing better. Well, except for the 355!
