GT3 Cup Car Wing
Does anyone have any pics (real) of the new wing on the GT3 Cup car for 2001-2002? I am thinking of putting it on the new c2 coupe I have on order, but I want to be sure of how it looks before I sent carnewal a check for $4gs!
P.S. The new 2002 rear spoiler SUCKS what is PAG thinking?

I was actually considering the cup wing for my car, however, I felt that people on the street might mistake my car for some riced out jap machine. Maybe, you should consider the GT3 Aero Kit wing. I think the Aero Kit wing might be a better choice, it's fully adjustable and race proven.

I am trying to find a pic from somone who actually has the wing or a 02 cup car. The pics from PAG are all from the frot, hard to tell how bi and obnoxious the wing really is. My fall back is the 'old' cup wing. Does it definitely it the 02 and 03s?

Maybe a bit much for a narrow body but may look nice on a C4S or TT. True see alot of those wings on rice rockets. To each their own. If you plan to get it please post pics- it may actually look good in real life. Regards. Mike

Bins, that your car? sweet ride. I am worried that the wing is too high and too wide. Do you have a pic from the back? I think its different than the GT3 RS wing which looks like it goes past the side of the car.

No, thats the right pic. And the wing is smaller that the GT3 RS. I think I'm going to go for it. Where did u get the pics?

I think AERO CUP WING is the way to go for the street 996! IMO, GT3R Wing is a little bit too much and the huge downforce make noise, creates drag, uses more fuel..and damn too wide for the street use.

Thats a 02! So it definitely fits. No problems on the install? The Cup wing is smaller and lower than the GT3R wing. The other advantage is the lightweight CF decklid.

Honestly, the FRP (fiber glass) rear deck cup wing is not much lighter than the stock steel deck. I have not weight them, but my guess is they are about the same.. But the cup wing definately looks very nice on the 02 996 C2 without any problem. I am going to install the GT-trim as found on the pre 01 996 on the rear bumper. Although they are not made for the 02 C2, but I have seen someone overseas did it with the new 02 rear bumper, so I guess it will work too. I am thinking of getting the 02 GT3 cup front bumper. Only thing i don't like from the 02 GT3 cup bumper is that they are not a street GT3 bumper and it has a slot opening for the racing tow hook and I do not like it that way for my street 996 and the cup bumper does not has the holder for the temp sensor.
