My C4S delivery is imminent and I'm terribly excited. I'd like to try to organize a meet for people in Maryland and surrounding states. I know some of you are in MD but I'd like to try to get a better idea if people would be interested in a meet. Maybe there are already meets going on and I just haven't heard about them. <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Anyway, if you are in Maryland and would be interested, or even if you are not in Maryland but are within driving distance, let it be known!

Hi folks,

Since the last time I mentioned a Maryland meet, one gentleman in particular wanted to meet up with me to check out my new C4S. We agreed to meet on the 17th in Columbia, MD. I thought I would post here and see if anyone else wants to join us. We are meeting at a parking lot that used to be for Uptons but is now empty since Uptons is closed down. The parking lot is plenty big. There are lots of restaurants in the area as well in case we decide to grab a bite to eat. The address there is

6455 Dobbin Rd.
Columbia, MD 21045

so you can put that in mapquest.com and get directions.

We plan to meet there at 1pm.

Apparently the PCA is having an autocross nearby the same day. Maybe we can stop by and watch a little. I think it's at the Dorsey MARC station on Route 100.

I'm planning to show if the weather holds. Unfortunately, the forecast for Sunday is not great.

Yeah, what if it rains? Should we move the meet to one of the Columbia Mall parking garages? (The Columbia mall is only a couple of miles away from the scheduled meeting place.) The larger garage's top two levels are usually close to empty... we could gather on the second one down to keep out of the rain... or should we cancel entirely if it rains? I personally don't care about the rain but I know some people do only drive on dry days.

I only drive the p-car in the dry but if it rains I'll just bring the Bimmer

We can meet in the parking lot as schedule and if its raining move somewhere else. Just sit in your car until everyone shows
