Default West coast C4S for sale?

Hello everyone, My name is James and I am finally making the jump to a 996 from my old 944 Turbo. This has been a long time in the making and I want to make the right purchase. I am familiar with their servicing, pitfalls, etc. as I operate a Vancouver, BC area independent Porsche specialist service shop, so this advice is not what I am seeking. What I am discovering is a real lack of choice in my market, hence I am shopping in the states. I am looking for a really good 2002 or 2003 C4S anywhere on the west coast, prefer Porsche certified and a title in hand owner as it makes my return to Canada a whole lot easier with customs. Anybody have one or any leads. I just won an auction on Ebay for a beautiful 2003 in Reno, but the guy isn't returning my phone calls, guess he chickened out of selling it or something (truly frustrating).
Any words of hope appreciated.
James

You should check out autotrader.com There is always a good number of cars listed. Use the power search and you can really narrow down your search.

i've seen dpblessing's car from the day he first got it and through its various iterations of mods. the car is gorgeous and any mod he's got on it is no expense spared and beatifully done. one of the best C4S in CA.

That is a beautiful car, I love the GT3 seats, I currently have a set of gray ones in my old car and wouldn't want anything else. However, I would prefer to buy a stock car, good suspension like the bilstein PSS9 set-up would be the one upgrade I would like aside from another set of GT3 seats (can never have enough, right?). Modifications are such a personal touch and I have my own desires as such, and the want to do it myself. Thanks for the help guys.
