My 99 C4 came with a cassette holder in the lower dash. I just purchased a replacement 4 CD holder for the car. Looks perfect, except I can't see how on earth to remove the exisiting Cassette holder.

Can anyone advise ? Do i have to remove the sides of the center console first ? I can't see any screw heads or clips and am trying to avoid snapping anything.

Any help would be much appreciated

It looks like you just yank it out. I have the same useless cassette holders and was planning to replace them with a storage bin. Any idea where I can find one to fit?
