No problem - you have mine as well - and by the way thanks for the lead on the forged wheels - I will contact him.

I think there are many folks trying to do what you ask. Perhaps you want to track the car and are using a harness when on track and don't want to hear the chime. One solution, although it probably won't help you at all, is to buy a seatbelt clip from a junk yard and plug that into the receptor. Other than that, I am all ears.....

Yup - I thought of that solution - but there must a wire or speaker or something - I am going tinker with it tonight and see what I can come up with - I will let you know.

I've removed my gong box on my BMW for the same reason. but after awhile I kinda missed the ping sounds so I plug it back... plus when I removed it, I lost all safety warning ping sound such like forgot to release my E-brake...etc. :P

Wondering if possible put a switch on those unuse buttons...

Could just put in the passenger side buckle, assuming that someone is not sitting there, and they may not mind even if they were. BTW, glad to see Dell & the other guy put down their handbags.

This is a great question... I really hate to see people arguring on the boards, I always feel a little bad, I really don't know why, I just do..Anyways back to the point I wear my seatbelt 99% of the time, but drive thru and situations like that i dont. And not to add fuel to the fire but if a grown man does not want to wear his seatbelt why should anyone else care?? I mean really

Actually, nobody should have to tolerate a judgemental response like you hit this guy with. He asked a question, and deserves an answer. If you don't have an answwer, than just STFU, and let someone who does answer the question. I'm guessing Sholz is a grown-up and can make decisions about safety without your opinions. And telling a rennlister (registered or not) to "crawl back under the rock from which you came" is completely un-called-for and not very rennlist-like.

Obviously you failed to read the ENTIRE thread. I was attacked (as was a family member) after being blunt about safety and yes I admit I might have handled it wrong and APOLOGIZED--as did he. We have moved on and even talked about other posts (outside of this thread) in a very cordial, contributing manner.

By the way, you are acting like the poster child for hypocritical behavior with a post like you just made.

Ever heard of the saying "if that ain't the pot calling the kettle black?"

Oh, I read the entire thread alright. I still think you were out of line.

You are definitely entitled to your opinion which I respect 100%. But like I already said, I agree with you that I was out of line, apologized, and moved on. You just replicated out of line postings which is hypocritical. Either way, no biggie, my skin is thick enough. Let's just all move on and get along.
