Default The Scent of a Woman

Really is a great line from a movie. Although it is difficult to separate the greatness of the line from the actor in that movie, i propose that the scent of a full leather 996 and 997 is better.

My M3 had a reasonable amount of leather with an identifiable odour. American cars with leather have their own smells and the old Connelly leather of English use was really quite incredible.

I have owed all of those and in my opinion, though given my limited experiences, suggest that the scent of the 996/997 leather really is a remarkable, indelible and unmatched experience. It surpasses the scent of a woman: i don't think it will make good fodder for a movie but that is only Hollywood!

I think someone has been sniffing the Lexol again... Just kidding. I agree there is a certain something about the aromatic presence of the leather Porsche uses.

I dunno, guys. I personally do not like the scent of German leather. Aged Italian leather, as in jackets or clothing, has a distinctly rich pleasant smell. Aged German leather, as in leather in MB's or our Porsches, has more of a heavy acrid smell. Don't shoot me, but it is neither pleasurable nor pleasant to me. The C4S has all leather, and I just kinda got used to the scent.

I miss the suede top on my coupe, and the leather smell is definitely unique in the Porsche. I like it.

While you guys are talking about windshield fluid, I must warn everyone never ever use Prestone Bug Wash!! It's green, although they claim it's wintergreen scent or whatever. It smells NASTY!!! The first time I used it I did not have the ac on recirculate mode and it almost knock me out. Thank god this wasn't on my p-car.

I think you guys have lost it completely! Whether it's leather, wiper fluid, or whatever, I recently celebarted my 20th wedding anniversary and the scent of a woman (my wife!) will always be a bigger turn-on that any of that other stuff!

Watch out, some one may post agreement with what you said.

Last night I nuzzled up to my wife in bed, nose right under her ear next to her neck, God, how very DELICIOUS!

At 15k miles wonderful smelling, I do mean absolutely wonderful smelling, cinnamon brown natural leather 2001 C4 can damn well stay out in the cold garage where it belongs.

Hmmmmmm.... Well I'm not going to believe the rumor that you have a carbon circle on your fly.

I'm not going to believe...., I'm not going to...
