Ha, ya, toe links and tie rods were done after that pic. New factory mounts (tophats) were used front and rear.

Picked my Porsche up today and drove it a few hundred miles through thunderstorms and a second or two of hail (yikes!). All's in good shape, not showroom condition, but mechanically solid and just in need of a good detail.

'99 C2 arctic silver with red leather interior (unff…), lsd and a few other goodies, 82k on the odometer.

A 2004 C2 with only few options. H&R coils and Koni yellows, HID light and upgraded stereo, all wrapped in a seal gray skin, currently at 83 k miles with non serviceable IMS bearing. Just arrived in Carlsbad after a 1700 miles drive from San Antonio, TX.

Congrats! Non serviceable IMS? Was your engine replaced with a late M97 engine im assuming?

Dan_198 In the hands of the previous owner the engine had an IMS failure while starting the car, I was told. Porsche San Antonio repaired the engine (not replaced with a crate engine) under warranty and replaced most internals, including the IMS with the larger bearing. After 35k miles the engine is running fine and strong.

Bought mine a long time ago but still happy to share pics. Here are a couple of quick pics I took of my 2004 C4S...

Sharkwerks tune, Fabspeed exhaust, EvoMS headers, EvoMS airbox, B&M short shifter...otherwise stock. Triple grey: Seal grey with grey top and grey interior.

Wow Noz, that's amazing. I'm envious of people like you who can do such things with engines and what not. Must be a cool feeling as you drive knowing everything that's moving you forward was touched by your own hands. Bet you missed driving her for a year, too!

Did your old engine fail, or did you buy a roller and rebuild a blown one?
