Talking Project car: need Trans
Hi guys,

Buddy of mine has picked up a "00" and is looking for a 6-speed trans.....

Anyone have any leads or know of anyone parting out?

There is a transmission selling on EBAY but that is for the C4S.

DOH! i didn't know. thx for the heads up. FWIW i got a gt3 bumper for my old boxster from them, CHEAP.

I gave them one last chance a while back when i was looking for the hardware for my trays OVERNIGHT and they first quoted me $75.00 per each with trays. I called back 5-10 minutes later and say to go ahead and ship them. The guy then says that he didn't have them used and tried to sell me new parts. NO THANKS, IF I WANTED THEM NEW I COULD GET THEM HERE...

Glad to hear someone got a deal through them....

I think the best advice is to be very cautious when dealing with the gang from LA Dismantlers. I've gotten a few good deals but I've also been quoted new prices for used parts.

Eli, did you get what you needed. I don't have a full transmission but I have a bunch of parts.
