Default Mashaw GT3-R front bumper

Anyone have this on their car? Pic below is taken straight from their site... Was wondering if anyone's seen it in person or has any first hand experience... Think it might look better on a darker car than a lighter car with all the vents it has.. Opinions on it?

looks like a lot of people like the bumper..

I wandered back onto the Mashaw site again and for some reason, it didn't look TOO bad the second time around.. I think it's because I've been addicted to these forums and getting sick of everyone having the same exact kit (including me!)

All good though, I just wish there were more options for body kits other than your aero/tt/gt2 choices...

I've always been a big fan of the GT3 RSR Supercup cars but, yeah, this bumper is a bit over the top for a road car.

Have you checked out the RUF aerokits? I am really happy with mine. I decided to get the kit to differentiate my car from the 6 other Porsches in my condo and office garages.

on the RSR, on the racetrack, it looks OK

on the street, theres a bit too many vents and looks too ricey.

i'm probably going 2 be getting that, since there are no really good kits that i know of for the pre-facelift. Also going to get the car resprayed to either white or black.

Dead-eye, remember, if you respray the car, it may be difficult to sell it, as people will assume its been in a huge accident.

yeah i've taken that into consideration and have come up with 2 solutions (keeping in mind that i have no intention of selling it, not in this market, but will keep it and drive it till its wheels fall off)

1) since pretty much every panel will be replaced except the sunroof and maybe the doors, i can just paint the new panels, and roof/doors in the desired color and add them on. that way i'll have all the original paneling.

2)i can document the process and have the reciepts and snap some pics of the car being painted that way i can show that it was being painted for style, not repairs

I like the bumper, but I would be worried about the aerodynamics downforce and lift. For simular reasons I like the gt2 wings and I think the turbo look wings are ok, but I remember someone saying that it made the car squirly at speed etc., and I do see 150 here and there.

^ squidgyness is a byproduct of having only a spoiler and no front spoiler or vice versa. or using horribly mismatched kits.

since the front on that was designed 2 work with that cup car wing..shouldn't be a problem.

^ yeah. but i think instead of using those cup car style winglettes you see in the pic to mount it, i'll use the aerokit II. that was i can alternate between AerokitII wing, GT3 RS and the cup car one, depending on what the style and top speed requirements dictate.
