can anyone recommend a quality seattle/bellevue/redmond based hand carwash establishment? I've been looking but haven't been able to find any that don't use those damn drive-thru scratch-my-paint machines... besides my car is too low to even attempt to go into one of those with the twin turbo bumper and side skirts...
i'm new to seattle, so not to familiar with what's up here.. thanks guys..

The Pro Club in Bellevue / Redmond has a complete car detailing shop, including a hand car wash I believe. It's around $25 for a wash and interior cleaning (vacuum, etc). I haven't used that myself but others I know have and are happy with the results. I'm not sure if you need to be a member of the Pro Club to use that service.
Since I don't have a place in my apartment building to wash my car, I've been driving over to those Brown Bear self-wash places with a bucket, soap, and wash cloths and hand washing it myself. Costs me about $5-7 for the water (heated) and 30-45 minutes (the bolts on the Sport Design wheels are a PITA). I try to go during off-peak hours so as to not hold everyone else up.

Barrier is good if you don't mind paing 25% more than other dealers for parts and labor.
Barrier Porsche Labor with Tax = $140 an Hour
Roger Jobs Porsche Labor (50 Miles Away from Barrier) = $100 an Hour with Tax
Robert Larson Porsche Labor (15 Miles Away from Barrier) = $105 an Hour with Tax
Barrier Parts Markup is Ridiculous. 25% more than any other Porsche Dealership and they don't pricematch.
I saved $7000 replacing one of my replacement engines at sunset porsche in portland vs what barrier would have charged me. Take it as you wish...

This might be too much money however, this is the best in Seattle area.. The guy takes pride in what he does. You will not find anyone that will do a better job.

How did he like the car when it was in his possession? It's my daily driver now and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm successfully (so far) resisting the urge to add a SC and various electronic goodies.
I gather he works / worked for Bill as the car was already registered when I went to get parking tags.

If you're looking for a quality hand carwash in the area, I highly recommend Tito Mobile Detailing. They offer excellent hand carwash services in Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond.
Give them a try, and I'm sure you'll be impressed with the results! Safe driving and enjoy your time in Seattle!

Is there someone with a dry ice machine in the greater Seattle area? My chassis could use a good detail.
