Default How much discount off MSRP on new 996 cab?

Dealer has new leftover 2004 Lapis Blue/Savannah Beige cab that I'm looking at. MSRP $85,700. How much of a discount should I insist on? I have my own financing.

go for invoice , especially with the 997s out and ESPECIALLY with the 997 cabs coming out.

How do I find out what's invoice? Or, do I just say, subtract $10k from the MSRP?

do you have any interest in a black/black 04 cab? I have one with the same MSRP...

Alfie - not my first choice of colors . . . do you have anything else?

What discount are you offering?

that is the only 04 911 I have left. I can certainly give you a great deal, but it doesnt matter if you dont like the colors. PM me if you are interested, would rather not discuss pricing in the forums(I think it is bad form).

Thanks

Young Turk,

Edmunds.com is a good resource for pricing. Go to http://www.edmunds.com/new/2004/pors...um4.1.porsche* this will get you started, and follow the steps...

Good Luck!

You can get $10k easily. My salesperson offered $10k off right after the test drive and suggested he can go lower.

Color also plays a factor. However, blue is somewhat popular so that won't be a bargaining point.

Your problem is finding one with your color and options. If you see what you like, just get it at the best price you can as you probly won't find another nearby.

I bought a new 04 Targa in December. The dealer wanted to move this car before the winter, and the 05's were out. I saved over 12K off list. This was a deal I couldn't pass up.I was looking for a 01 or 02 with this I got a new car for not that much more. Good luck, get the best deal you can and buy the car.

On an '04 Cab, sitting on a dealer lot for some time now, go for 15% off MSRP. That will put you close to invoice, but still give the dealer some bucks to cover his costs of floor planning that car for so long.
