100 in san diego?
I know someone alluded to a place where you could buy it at the pump however I didn't recieve any info that was legit other than places that "used to" sell it. Any concrete places? thanks.

Alpine has a place with some racing gas, but they wouldn't put it in my car when I asked - they would however put in a container....
Swain oil? I think its called - you can also get 5 or more gallon drums of some sort of high octane fuel. Over east of mission valley - mission gorge and something as I recall.

are you speaking of that place right at the base of the mountain? I stopped in there and it is in drums however it's all leaded. where is Swain oil? If you are speaking of that one spot on mission gorge they no longer sell there as far as I have reserached by calling them- crosby oil I believe is the actual name-

Ah, Crosby - thats right. I switched to just buying toluene after that - too much hassle to go over there - but your saying t hey don't even sell any more?
I like tolune alot as a filler for octane - but it made my 928S4 run a bit rough - too much octane I think.... When I go to boost I will just use Methanol - but thats off point.
San Diego is so socialist about the gas stuff. You doing qualcomm stuff?
The alpine place is more like just an exit off of 8 out there. If I saw it I'd recognize it....
Sorry I don't have specifics.

are you sure you can get it from that location? that is in fact the mission gorge exit one as I have seen off maps and the fact that they no longer distribute 76 100 unless you recently went there and can confirm?

oops, just realized that was you sean and we've bought 104 there together. 100 octane isn't going to allow you to keep up with me, so why do you need it?

Cosby Oil on Fairmont sells Sunoco GT (100 unleaded, street legal) from a pump or in 5 gallon cans. They keep normal business hours on weekdays and I don't think they have anyone at the facility on weekends.
The hot setup is to get a "Race Gas Only" credit card from them - then you can access the pump 7/24 and they bill you once a month.
From the pump Sunoco GT goes for about $5.75 a gallon, and if you put in 5 gallons with 10 gallons of our usual 91 octane you get a tank octane of about 94.
I've been buying gas from them for about 8 months now and the car runs a little stronger with the octane in the design range (93).
