finally got some photos online so i thought i'd share what i've been doing with my car and my kart. i hope i dont get too many flames for putting a hitch on a 911 but its my only transportation to the races so its a "needs" situation. anyways, hope you guys enjoy it!

the last one is of the karts on the grid before the race. the track is Roebling Road

Now that's a great solution.
Give some information on the hitch and any issues that have come up.

the hitch is from Evolution Motorsports. it utilizes the tow hook point behind the license plate. you have to do some drilling for the crossbar to attach behind the bumperettes, but thats all the work thats needed.
i use a 4x8 flatbed trailer from NorthernTool. weighs about 200lbs, that plus the kart and tools im not towing more than 500lbs. gas milage goes down about 3mpg on the highway - not as bad as i expected. i've only run into trouble with the wiring of the tail lights. im not smart enough to figure out how to wire the running lights, so i just spliced a wire from the brake light. basically i can't drive at night. trailer works great - no problems so far. there is hardly any tongue weight on it (and i doubt it could support more than 100lbs or so. i like the trailer cause it sits evenly when its attached.
i get lots of weird looks and several thumbs up when im driving or at the track. most people think its awesome that i have the guts to put a hitch on but some hardcore enthusiasts look at me in disgust. i like what i've done. if i had another car then of course i'd put the trailer on that, but i don't.

Thanks for posting this. That would be a great solution for getting race tires to the track.

can we get some detail pictures of the hitch setup - very cool and perfect for the One Lap of America trailer duties (btw - you need a trailer on the 1 lap - unloading and repacking a car 2-3 times a day sucks)
